Especially when it ends up at a British beach. So we thought we would share two of our favourite road-trips with you, finishing in some top spots for the summer evenings. Take our word for it... get in your car!

LONDON TO WHITSTABLE

Here is a trip for Londoners: we didin't want to leave you out entirely! This journey will take you from the hustle and bustle of the city to the calm serenity of the coast. As one of our original watches and a favourite place of ours, its a must for anyone who hasn't already taken the trip down. With a relaxing drive down to the coast. Whitstable is the ultimate get-away, which is yet to be overrun by Londoners gasping for some fresh sea air. Head to Wheelers restaurant for the best oysters the town has to offer and rent a bike to take a ride along the coast to picturesque Herne Bay. This is the perfect, yet cheap, trip away from London.

INVERNESS TO ULLAPOOL

This trip will take you to the very top of Scotland, where sheep outnumber people but the scenery is second to none. Wind your way across the beautiful highlands to Ullapool on the coast. This is the perfect mid-summer adventure. Pack up the car, choose a friend and get going!
